Social Venture Partners San Antonio (SVPSA) is thrilled to announce the addition of David J. Zammiello, SPHR, as its newest partner. With an extensive background in nonprofit management, workforce development, and executive leadership, David promises to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our philanthropic community.
David recently launched DAZA Consulting Group, LLC, aimed at optimizing processes and services for nonprofit organizations and small businesses. His commitment to helping others find better ways to achieve their goals aligns perfectly with SVPSA’s mission of fostering social change through effective collaboration and resource sharing. Prior to his new venture, David served as the President and CEO of Project QUEST, a nationally recognized nonprofit that empowers underemployed and unemployed adults by providing them with necessary skills and support for living wage employment.
Under his leadership, Project QUEST became a beacon of hope for many, demonstrating his deep understanding of workforce development and community engagement. David’s impressive career includes a remarkable 32-year tenure at USAA, where he demonstrated exceptional professional achievement, specifically in leading high-performing teams and strategic initiatives. His experience as Vice President of P&C Staff Operations equipped him with valuable skills in program management, quality assurance, process improvement, and change communication services—key areas that will significantly benefit SVP’s collaborative projects.
A graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and St. Mary’s University, David is not only an accomplished professional but a dedicated community member. His involvement with various organizations, including the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the UTSA Alumni Association, illustrates his passion for giving back and supporting local initiatives. As a recipient of the UTSA Lifetime Achievement Award and the San Antonio College Outstanding Former Student Award, David’s contributions to workforce development and community service have been widely recognized.
Outside of his professional endeavors, David enjoys cycling, hiking, and attending sporting events and concerts with his wife, Cindy, and their two grown children. His holistic approach to life, combining work and passion for community, makes him a perfect fit for SVPSA. We are excited to welcome David Zammiello as a partner. His expertise and enthusiasm for community building will be instrumental as we continue to drive positive change in San Antonio. Together, we look forward to enhancing our impact and empowering those in need.
