Founded in 1895, Providence Place has an inspiring history that began with Madame Volino, a brothel owner in San Antonio who underwent a profound transformation. She repurposed her home into a rescue mission, providing shelter and support to vulnerable women and helping them find loving homes for their babies.

Over the years, Providence Place has evolved into a professional and fully licensed adoption agency in Texas, known for its groundbreaking work in open adoption. The organization has successfully placed over 6,000 children in loving homes, setting a high standard in the field of adoption with a reputation built on integrity and compassion.

Through education, job search assistance, and therapeutic services, the team at Providence Place empowers individuals to move beyond mere survival and envision a brighter, transformative future.
