SVPSA Fellowship Class: A Vibrant Year of Impact and Collaboration

As we conclude the fifth class of the SVPSA Fellowship for executive-level nonprofit leaders, we celebrate the incredible journey we’ve shared this year. The Fellowship has empowered 25 nonprofit executives, strengthening their organizations, and reinforcing the importance of community engagement and volunteerism.

We proudly announce that this year’s Fellowship Class saw an extraordinary commitment from many dedicated volunteers, who contributed 1,404 hours of service to enhance the learning experience. 38 passionate volunteers engaged with the program, playing an instrumental role in nurturing the next generation of nonprofit leaders. The SVPSA Fellowship thrives on our invaluable partnerships within the community. This year, 19 SVPSA Partners collaborated with us, enriching our curriculum with their expertise and insights. Additionally, 19 community volunteers added their perspectives and experiences, making our program more robust and dynamic. Each volunteer taught, mentored, and supported Fellows in their personal and professional growth.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the leaders of this year’s Fellowship Class: Rebecca White, Leslie Palmer, Nisi Bennett, Johnette Lee, Kathy MacNaughton, and Bill Neely. Their dedication to leading discussions, sharing wisdom, and providing essential feedback proved invaluable. Through their commitment, they inspired the next wave of nonprofit leaders to think critically, act compassionately, and lead effectively.

This year’s Fellowship taught participants important skills to navigate the challenges facing nonprofits today.
