The Fellowship Experience

Reflecting on her time in the SVP SA Fellowship, Kimberly shares how the program supported her in recognizing her skills, competencies, and contributions while continuing to develop her capacity. “The fellowship strengthened my professional network and created connections for me to both learn from and support others,” she says.

The SVP SA Fellowship was not just a career stepping stone for Kimberly; it was a transformative experience that equipped her with valuable knowledge and skills. These tools have been instrumental in her new role, where she translates her extensive experience into walking alongside leaders and organizations as a connector, coach, facilitator, capacity-builder, and thought-partner.

Words of Wisdom

When asked what advice she would give to current fellows, Kimberly’s response is both insightful and encouraging:

“Connect with your peers and the partners. The SVP community is such a supportive space that is enhanced and enriched by the gifts that each and every person contributes to the community. Be vulnerable and speak from and share your own experience. Be curious, embrace the messy space of learning, and be willing to be surprised.”

Kimberly’s journey is a testament to the power of the SVP SA Fellowship in fostering leadership, growth, and meaningful connections. Her story inspires us all to embrace vulnerability, cultivate curiosity, and celebrate the unique contributions we each bring to our communities.
